McKenna and Kyle celebrated their big day at The White Dove Barn just outside of Nashville. We all know that nothing/nowhere beats TN in the fall and any chance I have to get outside of the city to see the stunning trees changing, is an opportunity I’m excited to take. Think rolling hills with golden hues everywhere you look. You just can’t beat it.
The Bride, Groom, and bridal party got ready on site. The ease and convenience that comes with a venue that can accommodate their couples and loved ones for the whole day, from getting ready through reception, is unmatched. It keeps things simple and is one less logistical detail to think about on your wedding day.
The morning was laid back, joyful, and simultaneously brimming with excitement. McKenna is literally a ray of sunshine and her people all reflected that part of her (no surprise!).
Afterward, McKenna and Kyle had their first look and spent some quality moments together before the day kicked off.

Ceremony and Reception
McKenna and Kyle’s reception took place next to the pond, under a stunning arbor of flowers with golden sunshine that flooded over their loved ones as Kyle and McKenna said their vows. The couple read personal vows to each other earlier during their first look and it was a beautiful combination of sincerity, humor, and light-heartedness. I love personal vows because the vows always reflect so perfectly the personality of the couple’s relationship.

Following the ceremony, we took photos with the bridal party. Then McKenna and Kyle had time for their sunset portraits. They took a moment to take in the day, pop some champagne, and toast to the new chapter in their story.

After toasts, first dances and cake cutting, we moved onto dancing. The reception was full of personal details like Garrett’s Popcorn from McKenna’s hometown, Chicago. There was no shortage of Taylor Swift and champagne. The dance floor was full all night!

At the end of the night, the venue cleared for Mckenna and Kyle. Instead of rushing to end the night, they had one last dance, just the two of them, to ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love with You’ (perfect, right!?). Finally they walked out of the venue to a sparkly sendoff from all of their loved ones.
Congratulations McKenna and Kyle!
