I am positive you will be as obsessed with this Nashville, Tennessee wedding as I am! Between the perfect fall colors and the contagiously joyful couple, it was an honor to be part of Kristi + Addison’s day.
Covid-19 didn’t stand in the way of Kristi + Addison’s charming fall wedding just south of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee. They gathered with loved ones at GratiDude Ranch near Nashville. Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, they traded a large Nashville city wedding for an intimate celebration. Kristi + Addison focused on two major things for their wedding. Above all they made the day feel like them (down to earth, intentional, fun). Coupled with that, they made sure it would be a huge party. Although the guest list was small, the party was BIG.
I walked into the bridal suite and there was not an ounce of stress in the air. The mood was joyful, excited, and incredibly laid back. Kristi casually got ready and enjoyed that quality time with her girls. The guys got ready in the main house. They played pool and hung out before the ceremony.
The ceremony took place outside, near a beautiful stream, covered in rich colored leaves. Fall in Franklin is one of the best things about Tennessee. The day couldn’t have been more beautiful. Kristi + Addison exchanged heartfelt vows to each other. Nobody witnessed them without getting misty-eyed because they were so sweet and personalized. The officiant announced them husband and wife. After that, they walked out of the ceremony and paused behind where their guests were seated, turned around, and took the moment in. They shared a sweet kiss as their people cheered them on. I know they’ll never forget that moment. It was my favorite moment of the day.
The guests shared dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Smith as the sun set behind the Tennessee hills. The guests ate off of dish ware that Kristi hand-picked from various antique shops. They enjoyed wine then toasted the couple and blessed them with words and well-wishes. Everyone quite literally danced all night. Overall everybody made the most of the celebration.
In essence, Kristi + Addison’s day was beautiful and heartwarming. It oozed intentionality. Of course every couple hopes for this and Kristi + Addison knocked it out of the park. I left and felt I knew them 100 times better than I did when I showed up at the beginning of the day. From the hand-picked decor to the beautiful promises they made to each other, they succeeded in their hopes for the day. The couple laughed. They cried. They were one of the most present couples I’ve had the honor of working with.
