I’m quickly learning that reconnecting is one of my favorite things on the planet. I’m also learning that my job seems to be the queen of reconnecting me to people that I loved at different times in life but for one reason or another lost touch with. This is exactly what happened with Heather. We went to high school together, were great friends, but lost touch once we graduated. Fast forward 8 years later, she gets engaged, and asks me to be part of her wedding day. UM YES. DUH. I was giddy with excitement as we emailed back and forth.

I know I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again, and probably say it forever and ever, amen…watching old friends end up with someone who you sit back and say, “Dang. They were made for each other.” is basically the best thing ever. Things always seem to work out and I know for Zack and Heather they’ve already gone through so much life together. They have the sweetest little girl, Izzie, and seeing this family celebrate and come together for Zack and Heather’s wedding was nothing short of incredible. I know that this family will only continue to flourish as they move forward in their joy, quirkiness, and commitment to life together!
