Alli + Jordan had their sunset engagement session at Radnor Lake State Park. It was so sweet and stunning (I mean, look at them. They got that in love glow to the max). We started their session in a random abandoned parking lot with beautiful long grass. I passed this lot when I was driving into Radnor. The way the golden sun hit this spot so perfectly made it impossible to pass up the opportunity to bring them out for a few shots. I’m always grateful when clients trust my visions. Let me just say it was SO worth it in this case!
We made our way into Radnor and knew there were a couple spots we knew we *had* to get photos at. The way the sunset light reflected off of the lake made it look like glass. I don’t think I had ever seen Radnor so calm and peaceful, especially in the thick of summer. Luckily, the park was pretty empty. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. Radnor is a Nashville staple, almost always full of people. It surprised us to see it so bare.
We finished the evening on the lake at the canoe launch. Jordan proposed in this spot around the previous Thanksgiving. He popped the question in front of the bench you see at the end of this post. I love when couples choose to visit the spot they got engaged. It gives them a chance to re-live those moments and remember what a special day it was for them. It prepares you perfectly for your upcoming wedding and all the feels heading your way! They got married at Sycamore Farms in Franklin, TN later in the summer. That blog to come soon.
