Meg and I go way way back to freshman year of high school. We saw each other through some of the most fun, not so fun, and let’s be honest, some of the most awkward years of our lives. We lost touch after we graduated, but reconnected after her and Steve got engaged. Couples like these two hold SUCH a special place in my heart. They wanted pictures that represented them well and that gives you an idea of the personality within their relationship-they were SO comfortable together and in front of the camera-win win in my book! (Honestly, part of that comfortability is due to the fact that Meg and I took photo classes in high school and she was my GO TO for all the weird moody shoot ideas in little Marissa’s brain-you’re the real MVP Megs). These two exude joy and there’s such a steadfastness about their relationship. These pictures show perfectly how much they trust and love each other. I can’t wait for their wedding in August!

Meg and Steve, thanks for letting me be part of such a fun season of life. I’m so glad I have the chance to get to know y’all as a couple in this special time. August will be here before we know it! I can’t think about it too much or I start to lose sleep. Patience, Marissa, patience.
