Debbie and Mike’s intimate Vanderbilt Legends Club Wedding in Franklin was nothing short of stunning. The day started with a ceremony at First United Methodist Church in the Historic Sanctuary. The church is right off of Main Street Franklin. It is quaint and full of charm. Warm light poured in through the stained glass windows during the ceremony. There was such a sense of peace around the church as two families prepared to come together. Similarly, Debbie had a sense of calm and excitement about her. Likewise, Mike was full of eager anticipation. The relationships between both Debbie and Mike and their children are heartwarming and special. You can tell they each share a uniquely special relationship.
To start, Debbie and Mike exchanged wedding vows in front of their closest loved ones in the beautiful historic sanctuary. Their day was incredibly beautiful. It was full of perfect glowy sun and the sky was as clear as could be. Afterward the ceremony, family and friends waited outside of the church to greet and congratulate the newlywed couple. Probably one of my favorite parts of a wedding day is right after the ceremony. The couple’s loved ones excitedly wait to give them hugs and celebrate with them. The moments post ceremony make the best candid photos because you can literally feel the emotion in those moments.
After the ceremony, the couple had an intimate Vanderbilt Legends Club wedding reception. It was a picturesque setting with sweeping golf course views. There is combined indoor and outdoor patio space. It is a perfect balance of natural beauty and sophistication. It was the perfect setting for an intimate family celebration. Beautiful golden light flooded in the floor to ceiling windows. As Debbie + Mike cut their cake and mingled with loved ones it almost felt like a fairytale. Finally, the night capped out with a heartfelt toast by the groom’s son. Seeing two families come together was incredibly special and it was so obvious that Debbie + Mike were perfectly celebrated on their day.
