Fall White Dove Barn Wedding | Rebecca + Brian

Weddings

Early on in our conversation, Rebecca let me in on her + Brian’s biggest hopes for their White Dove Barn Wedding. Rebecca shared, “We just want to have a great day with family and friends, keep it as relaxed as possible.” Above all, that was the place they were making decisions from. They were having an intimate wedding just outside of Nashville and their guest experience was at the top of their priority list, along with being present to enjoy it all with them.

After that, Rebecca explained that one of the things they were struggling with was making decisions. As you know, wedding planning is filled with a *lot* of decisions to be made. It can feel like a second full-time job. I really felt for her.

One thing I do to ease that struggle for couples, is to hop on a discovery call to hear about your wants and needs, your motivations for your wedding, what your biggest hope and dream is for the day-and then I create 3 packages tailored to those things. In other words, I don’t give endless options, just adding to the noise and decision fatigue, but I curate packages that are “custom fit” to your wedding day and your priorities. Of course we adjust things if we need to, but this takes the heavy lifting off of you, the couple, and allows me (who does this day in and day out!!) to come alongside and help you bring your visions to life.

When it came to photography, Rebecca + Brian wanted both candid, fun, and classic photos. They wanted that *chef’s kiss combo* of the in-between moments and what I like to call “Grandma’s fridge photos”. You know the ones, smiling at the camera-timeless and beautiful.

One of their biggest concerns was finding a photographer who firstly, understood her vision, secondly, was flexible, understanding and had their best interest in mind. Likewise, she was looking for someone that she could trust, “Someone I don’t have to say, ‘I want to do this pose next.’”. Remember, she was making decisions to reach her goal of being present and enjoying her day to the fullest! Because of this, she knew she needed a team of vendors who just got her, that she could trust whole heartedly to show up for her and Brian.

As you can see, their wedding day came and went and we made it happen for them! Leading up, I customized a timeline for their day, prioritizing moments for them to take it all in. For instance, we made sure to get ample time both during dancing to catch the energy that was all over their dance floor and sneak off for a few moments with just the two of them to connect and take in the day.

To conclude the day, the ended the night with a private last dance. It was a really sweet cap to the evening. Finally, they rode off after a sendoff from their loved ones!
